A Safe and Affirming Space to Be Yourself
Choosing therapy can feel intimidating. Many people arrive wondering if their story is “too much,” or if they will be understood, or if it is safe to express what they’ve held in for so long. I understand that fear.
As your counselor, I create a safe, affirming, and judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are. My background working with LGBTQ+ individuals, BIPOC clients, and people navigating identity related experiences allows me to listen deeply and without assumption. Your identity, your culture, and your lived experiences are honored here.
My goal is not to “fix” you. My goal is to walk alongside you as you unlock the parts of yourself that have been overshadowed by stress, trauma, fear, or silence. Together we will explore the beliefs, patterns, and emotions that have shaped you, and the new possibilities waiting to emerge.
Honoring Your Story, Your Identity, and Your Journey
As a biracial clinician, I understand how identity, culture, and personal history shape the way we move through the world. Each of us carries stories that are layered and influenced by family, community, past experiences, as well as the expectations we’ve inherited or internalized. For many clients, these layers can feel confusing, heavy, or difficult to name out loud.
In our work together, your identity is not an afterthought; it is part of the foundation of your healing. This is a space where you don’t have to explain away your cultural experiences, your family dynamics, or the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself. Instead, we explore how these pieces of your story have shaped you and how they can also be a source of strength, resilience, and clarity.
Whether you are navigating grief, trauma, relationship challenges, or the emotional weight of anxiety and depression, I am here to honor your lived experience with respect and authenticity. Together, we can uncover the patterns that no longer serve you and move toward the version of yourself that feels aligned, grounded, and whole.
Are you ready to honor your story in a deeper way? Let’s begin your journey today.
Tools for Clarity, Confidence, and Lasting Change
Therapy is not just a place to talk. It is a place to grow, practice new skills, and discover how capable you truly are. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused therapy, giving you practical tools that can support your life both inside and outside of sessions.
Many of the clients I work with struggle with feeling stuck: cycles of stress, lack of motivation, sleep disruptions, trouble concentrating, or patterns in relationships that repeat themselves despite best intentions. These experiences can make life feel heavy, overwhelming, or chaotic.
Our work together focuses on building emotional awareness, strengthening your coping tools, and creating shifts in the way you respond to stress, relationships, and your internal world. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps us understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while solution-focused work helps us identify concrete steps that lead to meaningful change.
My goal is not to give you a list of things to fix, it is to help you uncover what is already within you: resilience, insight, strength, and the capacity for growth.
Let’s work together to build the tools that help you move forward with confidence.
