A Scholarship from Aspen Counseling & Wellness
The Giovanni Legacy Grant
Supporting the next generation of counselors. This grant pays for NCE exam preparation and Texas LPC-Associate license registration fees.
In Loving Memory
Honoring Giovanni's Legacy
Giovanni was on this earth for just 7 weeks and 2 days, yet his impact on my life has been immeasurable. Although his time here was brief, the love he brought into my life continues to shape the person I am and the way I move through this world.
The journey through grief has not always been easy. It has challenged me, transformed me, and ultimately taught me lessons that continue to guide both my personal life and my work as a counselor. Because of Giovanni, I have come to understand love more deeply, endure hardship with greater resilience, and recognize the profound impact that one life, no matter how short, can have on countless others.
The Giovanni Legacy Grant was created as a way to honor those gifts. It is my hope that, by supporting future counselors during one of the most demanding seasons of their professional journey, Giovanni's legacy will continue to live on through acts of compassion, service, perseverance, and hope.
Why This Grant Exists
The Final Step Is Often the Hardest
Some of the greatest financial pressure in a counselor's journey comes at the very end when exam fees and study materials pile up before a first paycheck ever arrives. The Giovanni Legacy Grant is designed for exactly that moment.
