What is a counseling consultation and do I need to schedule one?

You do not need to schedule a consultation, if you know you want to begin your therapeutic journey, you may schedule an intake. Aspen Counseling and Wellness gives all potential clients the opportunity to schedule a free consultation. The consultation gives you an opportunity to learn more about the therapeutic process and how the counselor can help you meet your therapeutic goals. If it is determined that the counselor is a good fit for you, the next step is to schedule an intake appointment.

The intake is the first step in your therapeutic journey. The intake is an opportunity for the therapist to learn about your history and current concerns. Towards the end of the intake, the therapist and client(s) will set goals for future sessions. Sessions are 45-50 mins and cost $150
